The Vaccinated Travel Lane (VTL) is effective from October 19 and means that fully vaccinated British travellers can enter Singapore without quarantine.
The government of Singapore has announced a Vaccinated Travel Lane (VTL), will allow travellers from the UK who are fully vaccinated against Covid-19 to travel quarantine-free on a Vaccinated Travel Pass (VTP).
The travel pass allows entry into Singapore without the requirement to undergo the usual 10-day quarantine.
Requests to obtain a VTP must be made between seven and 30 calendar days before arrival into Singapore. Applications can be made via the SafeTravel website.
The scheme launches on October 19 and unvaccinated children under 12 will also be eligible for a travel pass – but children over 2 will have to undergo pre-departure and on-arrival PCR tests.
All UK travellers using the vaccinated travel lane must show proof of vaccination, as well as take a pre-departure PCR test within 48 hours of departing to Singapore, and an on-arrival test at Changi Airport. You must quarantine at your accommodation until the test result comes back negative (up to 24 hours).
