Early bird registration fees to end on Wednesday September 15
Delegates planning to attend this year’s Travel Convention are being urged to sign up soon to avoid paying standard rate fees.
Early bird registrations for this year’s Travel Convention have been extended from September 8 to September 15.
This year’s hybrid event is due to take online and in person on October 13.
The one-day event will take place at East Wintergarden in London’s Canary Wharf while being streamed online.
Chris Ship, royal editor at ITV News, will moderate the event for the sixth year running. He will be joined by industry leaders and external experts who will share insights and recognise achievements.
The latest big name to join the speaker’s list is Richard Carret, marketing and communications director at Star Alliance.
Ship will speak to Carret about the steps that alliance members are taking to ensure the future success of aviation.
Other headline speakers include Ailsa Pollard, chief executive officer of dnata Travel Group (UK & Europe) and Andrew Swaffield, CCO for the Virgin Group and CEO for Virgin Red.
The headline partner for the event will be Avis Travel Group.
Jeanette Harper, Director of Travel and Partnerships, said: “Avis Budget Group is delighted to be a headline sponsor of this year’s Travel Convention. Now more than ever, it’s important to learn from challenges we’ve faced as an industry and ABTA’s Travel Convention is the perfect opportunity to share insights and best practices with industry leaders as we begin to recover from the pandemic.”
