APT launches 2022 Canada and Alaska programme

Launch coincides with reopening of Canadian borders

APT has launched its Canada and Alaska touring programme for 2022 to coincide with Canada reopening its international borders to vaccinated travellers from today (September 7).

The brand is also celebrating 30 years of Canadian operations this year.

The 2022 programme features APT’s Luxury and Essential tours, including scenic journeys by road, rail and cruise ship.

Paul Melinis, APT Managing Director, said: “Our agent partners have been eagerly awaiting Canada’s reopening and the sales opportunity that it represents. Because most of APT’s guests are fully vaccinated, the bucket-list destination is now fully accessible for our clients and we anticipate it being extremely popular for 2022 travel. We are guaranteeing our departures to help the trade sell with confidence.”

He added: “I am so proud that our 2022 launch marks APT’s third decade as true Canadian travel experts. We combine showstopping itineraries with the expertise of valued partners to create the ultimate travel experiences in the region. Together, we cannot wait to welcome our customers back to Canada and Alaska from May next year.”

APT is offering early booking discounts of £100 per person on all land itineraries and £150 on land and cruise itineraries, when booked before 31 October 2021.

APT Travelmarvel’s Essential 13-day Passage Through the Rockies itinerary, from Calgary to Vancouver, costs from £3,395 per person, including flights from the UK, accommodation and a tour director.

Trip highlights include wildlife-watching on a river safari to Grizzly Bear Valley, staying overnight at Blue Rivers Mike Wiegele Heli Village, visiting the Yamnuska Wolfdog Sanctuary and exploring Lake Louise.
