easyJet has added 105,000 extra seats to its existing routes to Gibraltar and Portugal, since the announcement that both countries will be on the UK’s green list from May 17.
80,000 new seats were added to the green list countries’ flight capacity after the government’s announcement, with an extra 25,000 announced on May 13. The airline now offers more seats to European green list destinations, and operates flights to Gibraltar from more UK airports, than any other carrier.
easyJet and easyJet holidays continue to offer free flight changes up to two hours before departure with the company’s Protection Promise, with summer fares from £29.99 still available. This capacity hike raises the total seats, from 10 UK airports to green list destinations, to 1.65 million.
From May 17 the airline will operate regular flights to Portugal from Bristol, Liverpool, London Gatwick, London Luton and Manchester.
