Latest round of changes announced.
Slovenia and Guadeloupe have been removed from the government’s travel corridors list.
On July 28, Slovenia was added to the list having been initially omitted, demonstrating the uncertainty being caused by the current system.
Last week, Portugal was removed – just weeks after it was added – following a rise in coronavirus infections. However, those arriving from the Portuguese islands of the Azores and Madeira will not be required to self isolate.
Transport secretary Grant Shapps said that Singapore and Thailand have been added to the travel corridors list.
However, there are strict entry requirements for both of these countries. Short-term visitors from anywhere in the world are not able to enter Singapore, while Thailand is only welcoming those who satisfy certain criteria.
