AMG has been appointed to represent Playa Hotels & Resorts in Europe managing sales, trade and consumer marketing, writes Jill Sayles.
The company will act on behalf of 15 properties in the Dominican Republic, Jamaica and Mexico for the resort portfolio which also includes the recent acquisition of four Jewel-branded resorts and the Hilton Rose Hall Resort & Spa, all in Jamaica.
AMG, which also represents tourist boards and other hotel groups, will be recruiting additional staff in its London and Germany offices.
Playa Hotels & Resorts properties include Hyatt Zilara and Hyatt Ziva in Cancun, Hyatt Ziara and Hyatt Ziva in Rose Hall Jamaica and the Panama Jack Resorts in Cancun and Playa del Carmen. It also operates The Royal Playa del Carmen and manages the Sanctuary Cap Cana in the Dominican Republic. The Jewel resorts are as follows: Jewel Dunn’s River, Jewel Grande Palmyra, Jewel Runaway Bay, Jewel Paradise Cove.
